I was born and raised in central Minnesota, it’s my home, the place that I want to live, work, and raise my family. After high school I went into the U.S. Army as a flight medic. This is where I felt my calling, and knew I’d be pursuing a career in medicine. While completing my undergraduate courses, I worked as a 911-Paramedic. After much hard work, I was selected by the Minnesota Army National Guard to attend the Military Physician Assistant school in Texas. Upon completion of PA school, I chose to continue my education and earn a master’s degree through the University of Nebraska Medical College. After graduation, I returned to Minnesota where I worked in multiple practice settings such as General Surgery, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Primary Care. I also served our country as an officer in the Minnesota National Guard through a deployment to Afghanistan. I’m now working with the Odam Medical Group in Foley, MN. I am very excited to bring my experience into rural MN where healthcare access can be limited. I look forward to meeting new people of all ages and helping them with their healthcare needs. I have always had a passion to care for people with kindness and compassion, these values line up with the values of Odam Medical Group where I look forward to serving your medical needs. Outside of practicing medicine, I enjoy outdoor activities with my family and friends
